performance, 5 minutes, PAS – Cosmonaut 200, Perform Now Festival, Winterthur Switzerland 2013
I put fingers to my mouth and take the long red hairs out of it. I do it several times and put hairs into the glass. When the glass is partly filled, I burn the hair, I crush the dust with my fingers and swallow the ashes.
The performance Dissociation is inspired by a cosmonaut project, describing the world through an image of a human individual, in turn presenting worldwide mechanisms in micro scale. Real action happens here not on the surface, but in the ‘digesting system’, which gives and takes tissue transformed by us and is also subjected to external factors.
